The Magic Door
The Magic Door tells the story of a magic trick gone wrong. After receiving a new magic wand in the mail, Henry was eager to test it out. His magic assistant, his pet bunny named Cinnamon Bun, is very fearful of this new powerful magic and as a result of their attempt to flee, a door to another world appears.

The decision to enter this mysterious door carries them on a fantastical adventure through multiple different universes, each presented in different animation mediums.
Concept Art - Character Design
After establishing our idea for the film we dove deeper into our two characters. We thought about how they would react to different situations, how they move, express different emotions, and how they chose to present themselves. We had many iterations (a couple shown above) of what these characters would look like before reaching our final designs (go to the About Us tab at the top of the page to see the final character sheets).
Storyboarding
Now with a full story line and finalized character designs, we jumped into sketching a thumbnail of each important action or character expression through out the film. This allows us better visualize the entire storyline and is very helpful to look back on as we move into animating the final shots.
Concept Art - Environment Design

The last step in pre-production is Environment Design. Henry and Cinnamon Bun find themselves in many strange alternative worlds. So, before we can begin to animate we have to decide what those worlds will look like. Above are a couple of our initial concept designs for a couple new worlds.
